Nova filament extends products to several markets from chenille & fancy yarns to, upholstery fabric, socks, underwear, mattress ticking and polar clothes.
Chenille and Fancy Yarns:
Due to its high filament count and special finish applications applied to
yarn, the desired soft touch at chenille can easily be obtained. Since the
yarns are mass dyed (dyed at melt phase at production) no color variations
are observed on the chenille and upholstery fabric. The color repeatability
is excellent, due to computer controlled dosing system combined with excellent
mixing at melt phase.
Upholstery Fabric:
Chenille made of Nova Filaments yarns are widely used at upholstery fabrics.
In addition Nova Filament has yarns developed to be used at weft while the
high tenacity yarns can be used at warp.
It is preferred at upholstery fabrics because of its physical properties like
being stain-free, friction and UV resistant. Especially the yarns produced
with increased UV resistance and Flame retardancy are used in automotive upholstery
fabric weaving sector.
Mattress Ticking:
Due to its antibacterial, anti allergic and flame retardancy properties Nova
Filament’s yarns are used at mattress ticking industry.
Sports and Underwear:
Low denier, multi filament yarns are used in sports wear due to its soft touch,
lightness and breathability properties. And again due to its soft touch, air
permeability, being anti-allergic and antibacterial and heat insulation properties
it is used in underwear production. These yarns are also preferred at production
of polar fabric, thermal wearing, cold protective clothes, and military clothes
due to their low thermal conductivity.
Socks:
Ikofil, especially developed for socks market is used at sport socks production
by due to its soft touch and breathability properties. 100% multi filament
polypropylene yarn knitted socks
