PP FDY (FLAT) YARN

Nova Filament produces polypropylene continuous multi filament yarn in the range of 70-850 dtex. Apart from the Fully drawn CF flat yarn (FDY), Nova Filament also produces partially oriented (POY) yarns as well. Depending on the yarn thickness and required properties, the filament count can be 48, 72, 96,144,200,244 or 288. Various filament cross sections such as delta, round and trilobal are available both with or without interminling
Depending on the yarn properties, Nova Filament produces medium tenacity yarns in the range of 1.5 – 5.5 cN/dtex
Since Polypropylene yarn cannot be dyed due to its chemical structure, it is dyed at melt state by Nova Filament during yarn production. There are almost 200 tailor made colors and any customs color is available.
Depending on the end-use area and demand, UV stabilization, antibacterial and flame retardant properties can be added to the yarn during manufacturing.
